1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FrieghtDocs AI platform ("Service"), operated by FreightDocs LLC ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FrieghtDocs AI provides an AI-powered platform for extracting, validating, and managing data from shipping and logistics documents, including but not limited to Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and customs declarations. The Service includes document upload, AI extraction, HS code management, container tracking, and data export features.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You may register using email/password or through Google Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must verify your email address before accessing platform features.

4. Workspaces & Collaboration

The Service operates on a workspace model where:

  • Workspace owners control membership, roles, and permissions.
  • Members may have different access levels (Owner, Admin, Editor, Uploader, Viewer, Guest).
  • Documents uploaded to a workspace are accessible to all workspace members with appropriate permissions.
  • Workspace owners are responsible for managing access to sensitive documents.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents that you do not have the legal right to process
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written consent
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content

6. Document Ownership & Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze those documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The FrieghtDocs AI platform, including its AI models, software, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of FreightDocs LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

7. AI-Generated Data & Accuracy

The data extracted by our AI models is provided "as-is" and may contain errors. While we strive for high accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before using it for official purposes, including customs declarations, financial records, or legal proceedings.

FrieghtDocs AI does not guarantee 100% accuracy and shall not be held liable for errors in AI-extracted data that result in financial loss, customs penalties, or other damages.

8. HS Code Classifications

The HS code lookup and classification features are provided as a reference tool only. AI-suggested HS codes should always be verified against official tariff schedules and customs regulations. We are not a licensed customs broker and our classifications do not constitute legal or professional advice.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreightDocs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
